Size
The Tube-Dwelling Anemone can stretch to 8 inches across and its non-retractable tentacles can reach to 12 inches or more.
Appearance
The Tube Anemone has a cylindrical , almost cone shaped body with no feet. Instead it has a blunt point. They have long tubes called fibrous with stinging cells to help protect it from an attack. They also have more than 200 tentacles and a mouth in the center. Their tentacles can vary in many different colors.
Tube Anemones attach themselves to the seafloor and capture animals with their stinging tentacles. They hide in their tube for protection. They live buried in soft sediments.
