The Tube Anemone has tentacles that are used to capture food and for defense. Once a small animal emerges the Tube Anemone captures it and feeds on it. This builds up energy for the Tube-Dwelling Anemone.
The Tube Anemone hides in its tube when it feels threatened. They capture food with their tentacles. Their outer tentacles are used for defense and it can sting the other animals.Their smaller inner tentacles are used for ingestion. The Tube Anemone grows its tube deep into the sand or mud.The Tube Anemone eats small amounts of meat because big pieces can damage their tentacles.
